Shaniwarwada
This fortress was built by Bajirao Peshwa in the 18th century to challenge the Mughal Empire and the British. It was a 13 storey building. It used to be the head quarter of the Peshwas and it represent Pune 's culture.

Aga Khan Palace

Lal Mahal Palace
Across the road of Shaniwar wada there is the Lal Mahal, where Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj spent his childhood along with his mentor Dadaji Kondeo and mother Jijabai. There are bronze statues of the three of them near the entrance.

Parvati Temple
Parvati Temple is located on top of a hill. This temple was built by Nanasaheb Peshwa in 1749. Here you will find small temples of Parvati, Vishnu, Karthikeyan and Ganesh.On Kartik Pournima, this place attracts plentiful of crowd every year. Museum which houses articles of Peshwas is also in the same area of the temple.
